iREST YOGA NIDRA
iRest is a structured, evidence-informed meditation practice rooted in the tradition of Yoga Nidra and adapted for the demands of modern life. Simple, accessible, and deeply effective, it uses a 10-step protocol to help regulate the nervous system, reduce cognitive overload, and support a sense of calm, clarity, and resilience, particularly during periods of stress, anxiety, or sustained pressure.
The practice is designed to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, and support mental clarity by guiding you into a state of conscious relaxation, situated between wakefulness and sleep, where the body can deeply rest while the mind remains aware. This state supports nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and cognitive recovery.
I offer iRest Yoga Nidra sessions to individuals and organisations, working one-to-one and with groups, in both private and professional settings. The same underlying iRest protocol is adapted to suit each context, whether supporting personal wellbeing or helping teams manage pressure and maintain clarity.
In private one-to-one sessions, you are guided through a structured process of relaxation and self-inquiry, developing awareness of the body, breath, and internal experience. This supports a shift from reactive patterns such as stress and anxiety toward greater self-regulation, clarity, and ease. Sessions can support emotional resilience, improved sleep, and a deeper sense of wellbeing.
In group and workplace sessions, I guide participants through structured practices that help calm an overactive mind, reduce stress and anxiety, and support focus, resilience, and recovery from sustained demands. Sessions are accessible to all experience levels and designed to integrate easily into the working day.
I also offer private one-to-one iRest Dyad Meditation.
This co-meditation practice follows the iRest protocol, where we enter a shared state of meditative awareness, allowing thoughts, emotions, and sensations to arise and resolve without suppression or analysis. I reflect and support your process without agenda, creating a safe and steady space for deeper insight, pattern recognition, and integration. This can be particularly helpful for those experiencing anxiety, low mood, chronic stress, or seeking greater creativity and clarity. Suitable for all experience levels.
Sessions last approximately one hour.
They can be done lying down or seated comfortably, with eyes open or closed.
Based on the iRest Yoga Nidra protocol developed by Richard Miller, integrating principles of mindfulness, neuroscience, and self-inquiry.
